For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23) In reply Jesus declared, I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. (John 3:3) Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame. (Romans 10:9-11)
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23

sorry folks

have decided to leave again.I put up a post in the Masonry thread thanking Hasah for posting the info. There i noted that a Catholic could be excommunicted for belonging to the Masons.
And that if anyone knew of someone who belonged they ought to be informed. That was it.NO debate. NO big deal.

Just a statement of fact.If you people can't handle statement of facts and it happens to BE Catholic-HELLO...I AM Catholic then there's no sense in being here.

It's gotten to the point of ridiculous.Of course any post re a subject is going to be evaluated on the basis of my beleifs...as much as that's true for other ppl.

Just because the word Catholic shows up there seems to be cause. How else do you expect me to comment?
Sorry folks. It's time to leave again.Only this time voluntary. It's simply gotten totally ridiculous and i feel we would have more open discussion on our own board. We don't see the word Protestant and head for the hills.
Later..

Re: sorry folks

this is a hoot Hasah because we weren't at odds on this one.

Let's put it this way.I'm not leaving cos of you.
We disagreed. That's not news.

It's MEL's board and what he says goes. That's a given.
If i come here then i agree to abide by those rules. That's a given.

You have to respect the owner of a board. If you're a member it's a privilege..not a right.

At this point-i have some problem with this being a debate forum and then any Protestant-Catholic discussion being confined to ONE thread.

I may just need a break for awhile and this would be a good time to do it.
If ppl want to take up these discussions there is always our board and younz are welcome there anytime.
Mel does have a great board. No doubt about it.I'm glad to see it getting off ground and doing so well.

It's just a small matter of one thread but it's probably a good time to move along anyway.
